In California, most vehicles are required to pass a state-certified smog inspection to help reduce air pollution and keep our environment clean. At Eli’s Auto Service, we are a licensed California Smog Check Test & Repair Station, authorized to perform inspections and repairs  that meet all DMV and Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) requirements (vehicles 2000 and newer that are not directed to a STAR station).

During your smog check, our certified technician will perform a visual inspection and connect your vehicle to the state’s testing system to ensure your car meets California standards. If your vehicle passes, we electronically transmit the results directly to the DMV, making registration renewals quick and hassle-free.

If your vehicle fails the test, our team can diagnose the issue and provide repair solutions to help you get back on the road legally and with confidence.
